A week after the Tiko Council Budget Orientation Debate, BOD, when the Development Mayor announced that in the days ahead the municipality will be transformed into a Grand Chantier, Work has started.

On Tuesday November 11, 2025, Tiko Council headed by Mayor HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III Team was spotted in Mutengene for Action.

The Council Communal Development Officer, HRH Mbollo Ndedi Yves, Town Planning Officer, Engineer John Esunge alongside the contractor of the project for the pavement of road from National Road No 3 Limbe road Mutengene through National Road No 3 Buea Road passing through Bobga Street Mutengene, visited the site for proper work to begin in the days ahead.

The Stretch of road which Pecking was done Months ago with Tiko Council calling on the inhabitants of the area to collaborate with the Council for structures that have encroached the road to be demolished went on deaf ears.

According to Tiko Council Town Planning Officer, Engineer John Esunge, in the days ahead Machines will be station at the site for work to begin.
