Few days to the kick start of the 2025/2026 Academic year, Tiko Council Mayor, HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III has put smiles on the faces of the workers by paying four months salary arrears owed.

This was during a strategic meeting Mayor HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III summoned on Thursday September 4, 2025 for staff at the council Banquet Hall attended by the first and fourth Deputy Mayors,(Hon Efite Andrew and Waindim Rudolf), Secretary General, Mrs Eri ITA Tatason and Municipal Treasurer, Mr Robert Mbella.

During the meeting, the Mayor of Tiko Council, HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III called on workers to be Conscious at work, that is know what to do and when at the Tiko Council.

Mayor HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III also called on workers to respect working time, hierarchy and that they should know the purpose they came to Tiko Council and work inline with the mayor’s agenda.

The Secretary General of Tiko Council l, Mrs Eri ITA Tatason on her part educated workers to know how to approached Colleagues, Neighbours, Visitors, homes amongst others.

The workers on their part thanked the Mayor HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III for the wonderful gesture( Payment of Salary arrears), especially at the time children are preparing for the 2025/2026 Academic year and called on the Lord Almighty to Blessed the Mayor and his family.
