Staff of the National School of Local Administration (NASLA), Buea, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, paid a working visit to NASLA students currently undergoing internship at the Tiko Council.
The delegation from NASLA was warmly received by the Fourth Deputy Mayor of Tiko Council, Waindim Rudolf, alongside the Council’s Secretary General, Mrs. Eri Ita Tatason, the Chief of Administration, Mrs. Coretta Mesinze, and the Chief of Personnel, Madam Carolinda Achanga Bih, who all stood in on behalf of the Mayor, HRH Dr. Peter Ikome Mesoso III.
During the visit, the NASLA staff exchanged with both council officials and the interns, assessing their progress and reaffirming the institution’s commitment to practical professional training.
It should be recalled that Tiko Council has, over the years, served as a trusted training ground for NASLA students, offering them hands-on experience in local administration.
The ongoing internship program, which began on August 4, 2025, is scheduled to run until September 12, 2025, equipping students with the practical knowledge and skills needed to effectively serve in public administration.
