Tiko Council to transform the likomba Market to a modern market

After the transformation of the Mutengene market to a modern market, the management of Tiko Council headed by Mayor HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III is bent on give the Likomba market a new facelift.
Mayor HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III accompanied by the Third and Fourth Deputy Mayors (Valery Ndesa and Rudolf Waindim), Some Councilors, Council Secretary General, Mrs Eri Ita Tatason, Technical Service, Municipal Police visited how far work has gone at the Likomba market on Thursday March 6, 2025
The Mayor called on the contractors to use the best materials and concrete when mounting pillars so that the Stalls and Hangars will last for long.

The Secretary General Mrs Eri Ita Tatason of Tiko Council on her part called on the population of likomba to make use of the market upon completion and collaborate with the council by paying their taxes. She went further that the Traders should maintain proper Hygiene and Sanitation in the market especially in the management of waste.

A trader on her part, thanked Tiko Council headed by HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III for always haven likomba at heart and called on the population to always be behind the Council and the mayor.
The construction of a modern market in likomba to note will run for a period of Three Months.
It should be noted that since 2020 when Mayor HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III and his team took over Tiko Council, likomba population has benefitted alot such as the construction of a bridge over the Ndongo River, Pavement of the road from the Likomba bridge through the Catholic church down Tchombes Quarter and more.
