A Delegation from the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing, MINHDU on Friday December 27, 2024 visited Tiko municipality to control PIB projects under it’s ministry.

The Delegation that comprised of officials from MINHDU from Yaounde and Fako Division, was accompanied to the field by the mayor of Tiko Council HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III, the fourth Deputy Mayor Waindim Rudolf, Communal Development officer HRH Mbollo Ndedi Yves, chief of Town Planning, Engineer John Esunge and workers from the Technical Service at the Tiko Council.

The team that was to control work done so far as to the pavement of MINHDU project from Tchombes quarter heading towards likomba, were satisfied with the work done so far.

It should be noted that the pavement of roads from Tchombes quarter through the Catholic church in likomba to the bridge is under three projects amounting to 220 Million frs cfa. The Three projects are under three ministries namely; Ministry of Urban Development and Housing amounting to 40 Million frs cfa covering a distance of 301metres, Ministry of Decentralization and local Development amounting to 50 Million frs cfa and Ministry of Public works amounting to 130 Million frs cfa.
