A one day workshop organised by the ministry of Decentralization and local Development through the Regional Delegation South West took place on Thursday November 21, 2024 at the Limbe 1 council hall.

The session that brought together Secretaries General of Councils throughout the south west region, was chaired by the Regional Delegate of Decentralization and local Development South West, Mr. Teddy Agbor in collaboration with the president of United City of Councils, South West, Mayor Patrick Aboko.

Presentations on best practices of citizens consultation were presented with Tiko Council as reference.

Tiko Council Secretary General, Mrs Eri Tatason alongside the chief of local Solutions, Mr Julius Sone drilled the participants on how Tiko Council, the gateway city has been organising citizens consultation across the over 17 Zones that make up the Municipality.
